My Skincare Routine

If you even clicked on this blog link you’re probably a little obsessed with me so here’s some content for you stalker.

I’m 100% obsessed with skincare and follow my day and nighttime routines religiously. I don’t eat super-clean so I rely on so many products to keep this face dewey, glowing, never having a pimple since 2017.

I’ve been asked about my routine enough times to make a Google Slides deck about it but I thought if I can have a blog section I might as well use it. In the morning I just cleanse and moisturize but nighttime is a trip.

I double cleanse. First with Glossier Milk Jelly Cleanser. Second with Clinique Take the Day Off Makeup remover. I don’t leave the house without eyeliner and mascara and I sleep on white sheets so this is a must AKA bare minimum if I’m coming home from a late night out.

I use Clinique Clarifying Lotion for skin type 2 to slough off dead skin cells and help my skin absorb all the serums and moisturizers coming up.

Clinique 7 Day Scrub is my Holy Grail. It’s gentle enough for daily use and leaves my skin feeling fresh and open to new serums and moisturizers and clear of any nasties that want to clog my pores. Summer Fridays Overtime Mask is my couple times a month hardcore scrub/mask that I do after a really hard week to pick me up.

I use Clindamycin gel morning and night to fight bacterial infections on my face. Retin-A is a super powerful exfoliant that makes me flake and peel for three days so I only use that once a month but when the skin is shed there’s fresh new baby skin underneath and honestly I’m jealous of snakes that get to do this on a regular basis for FREE.

I cannot live without Mario Badescu’s Vitamin C serum, trust me I’ve tried. At $45 it’s one of the more affordable options and keeps my skin glowing and got rid of any hyperpigmention I had from the bad habit of picking my skin from 2014-2016.

Rosehipseed Oil is the surprise hero of this routine. I use 3 drops morning and night and my skin just drinks it up with no greasy feeling after. This oil is why I no longer wear foundation, a few drops of this and my skin comes to LIFE. At $6 a bottle it’s no sacrifice to keep it on hand.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I love Clinique Moisture Surge. I have combination skin that gets super dry in the winter and this is the only thing that helps. Moisture lasts all day and again, no greasy look or feeling and the pale pink jar is perfect for your shelfie. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask is my go to for pick me ups from dry office air and it’s safe for use around the eye area :) I use Glossier Priming Moisturizer in the morning because I like the way it plays nice with my Clinique 50 SPF Sunscreen.

I like a good mask now and then but only have time when I’m WFH lol pls don’t video call with me then. Mario Badescu’s Whitening Mask and Flower & Tonic Masks are my fave go to’s for brightening skin tone and I do them about twice a week. Clinique makes a really nice charcoal mask that when you remove it becomes a scrub, love a two for one product.
