Upwork Remote work has so many benefits—but you do miss out on those moments of connection: the ones that make you feel like you really know someone. So we took a break from the glowing screen and brought our global community right to our biggest, most impactful clients in a one-of-a-kind experience that would leave them thirsty for more. We invited clients to kick back and enjoy brews from Athletic Brewing Co. on us while they got a sampling of the best freelancers available for hire on Upwork. We curated award winners, high performers, and top earners from around the world, then made getting to know them more fun than a game of beer pong.

Hero Art direction, illustration, and packaging design. Hero’s launch campaign included an big activation celebrating “The Carbpocalypse” – a countdown to the end of carbs, was designed to be irreverent, unapologetic, and completely shareable, with social content that would kick off a new era of unbridled bread love. We collaborated with the talented musical artist Stella Bossi on the “Bye Carbs” track.

Impossible Foods Illustrations and patterns became an integral part of the brand. Especially when we had to bootstrap content. The first question everyone asked about Impossible is “So…what’s in it?” We made a simple video explaining all the ingredients that go into making Impossible™ Burger and the magic ingredient "Heme” which is what gives the burger the taste of meat and its red color. We created a character “baby heme” who everyone loved and became our mascot. From plushies to socks, Baby Heme is part of the Impossible family and even has its own IG @babyheme.
